The Story of the Crystal Faerie.
The sweet and delicate Crystal Faerie lives in an old gum tree that grows beside the Crystal Brook. The door to Crystal’s tree house is leadlight and glass and features a faerie. Two little windows made from quartz crystal also open, giving the little faerie a very fine view of her precious brook.
While Crystal is the guardian faerie of the crystal brook, she also has a kind and loving heart and looks after children and little dogs.
In this story, two sisters, Sally and Michelle, with the help of the Crystal Faerie, search for Tot Tot, their tiny Chihuahua puppy, who is enticed by Craw the crow into dangerous bushland.
Michelle threw the ball to Tot Tot who chased it across the grassy lawn. Overhead, the gum leaves rustled in the gentle breeze and only the cheepings of magpie chicks were to be heard on this gloriously warm, golden Sunday.
The girls hadn’t noticed the pair of beady black eyes that followed the little dog everywhere, and they didn't see Tot Tot chase the purple-coloured butterfly off into the bushland. Luckily, someone else was watching.
From her tree house, Crystal looked on with concern as Craw followed Tot Tot into the bush. The faerie knew she had to help, but this meant showing herself to the children. It was something she had never done before. Should she now? |
