Shelly, the Shell Faerie's spectacular castle was made from sea shells. The little doors were driftwood and windows were curtained by sea grass.

'Where is the occupant?’ asked Tilly.  

Just then she noticed a curtain move.

Connie took hold of the marble knob and threw open the door and there inside, was the Shell Faerie.

Stella, the blue Star Faerie, twinkled in the clear night sky.

‘Look! It’s winking at us!’ said Amanda.

Just then, the star seemed to move slightly. The sisters looked at each other and they suddenly felt afraid.

Then it was immediately above them and a pale blue light engulfed the girls.

‘That,’ said Charlotte with some authority ‘is no star!’

Celeste, the Twilight Faerie, hovered above the garden. She could see the flower faeries dancing with Ada, the Geranium Faerie.

 ‘Oh, what a good time they're having,’ she murmured, and with that, flew down and landed beside them.

Ada thought this lovely new faerie smelt of the sea and yet, looking at her luminous pink costume, she also reminded them of the twilight time.
